The Longest Night Embraces Earth’s Silence

Poetry Image

In the quiet hush of winter’s embrace,
The solstice night unfolds its longest grace.
Stars whisper secrets to the frozen ground,
As shadows dance without a sound.

The moon casts silver over snow-clad trees,
Breathing life into the crisp, cold breeze.
A gentle stillness wraps the earth so tight,
In the solemn beauty of the endless night.

Hearts gather warmth in the glowing fire’s light,
Sharing tales beneath the starry height.
In this tranquil pause, time seems to freeze,
As nature rests in quiet, peaceful ease.

Awaiting the dawn’s soft, tender glow,
When light returns to melt the winter’s snow.
Until then, in this sacred, silent space,
We find solace in winter’s gentle embrace.
