The Lament of the Silent Waves: Whispers of the Ocean Depths

Poetry Image

Beneath the moonlit, shimmering sea,
Where dreams and echoes softly weave,
The mermaids sing their ancient plea,
In waters deep, they quietly grieve.

Their voices blend with ocean tides,
A haunting song of love and loss,
In coral caves where magic hides,
Beneath the waves, they bear their cross.

With scales that glisten, hearts that mourn,
They dance through currents, wild and free,
In twilight’s glow, from dusk till dawn,
They guard the secrets of the sea.

Oh, hear their call, so soft and clear,
A melody of hope and pain,
For in their song, we learn to hear,
The ocean’s soul, in sweet refrain.
