The Journey from Innocence to Wisdom

Poetry Image

In the golden days of youth, we played and laughed so free,
With dreams as vast as oceans, and hearts as light as breeze.
Each day a new adventure, each night a lullaby,
In the arms of gentle whispers, beneath the starry sky.

From hide-and-seek in summer, to snowball fights in frost,
Our world was full of wonder, no moment ever lost.
We climbed the tallest trees, and sailed the paper boats,
In the magic of our childhood, where innocence still floats.

But time, it has a rhythm, that none of us can halt,
It leads us into growing up, where dreams may sometimes fault.
Yet in the heart of memories, the child within remains,
Reminding us of simpler times, amidst life’s complex chains.

So as we face the future, with wisdom in our stride,
Let’s cherish every moment, with the child we keep inside.
For though the years may change us, and paths may twist and wind,
The essence of our childhood, forever we shall find.
