The Interwoven Threads of Grief and Love

Poetry Image

In the quiet hours of the night,
Where shadows dance with dimming light,
I find your memory, soft and bright,
A flicker in the endless fight.

Love once bloomed in vibrant hues,
Now shaded by the loss I choose,
To hold within, the pain and muse,
Of days gone by, of tender views.

Grief and love, they walk as one,
Beneath the moon, beneath the sun,
In every breath, in every run,
Their dance is never truly done.

So in my heart, they’ll always stay,
Interwoven threads of night and day,
A testament to what we say,
That love endures, come what may.
