The Illusion of Friendship: Masks and Shadows in a Deceptive Dance

Poetry Image

In the garden where trust once bloomed,
Shadows dance with whispered lies,
Promises like petals strewn,
Beneath the guise, true friendship dies.

Smiles painted in fleeting hues,
Echoes of laughter fade to gray,
In silent halls where truth eludes,
Friendship’s light begins to sway.

Words like mirrors, fractured and cold,
Reflect a world of hidden schemes,
Beneath the surface, stories told,
In dreams where nothing’s as it seems.

Yet from the ashes, wisdom grows,
The heart learns who it can defend,
Through tangled paths and hidden foes,
The soul discovers its true friend.
