In the labyrinth of our minds, we weave a tale so grand,
Of dominion over fate, with power in our hand.
Yet, nature’s whims remind us, with a gentle nudge or shove,
That control is but an illusion, in the vastness up above.
We chart our paths with fervor, with maps and plans so clear,
But time and chance conspire, to steer us far from here.
The winds of change, they whisper, secrets both old and new,
That control is but a shadow, and life a transient view.
We build our walls with caution, to guard against the storm,
Believing in our fortress, we feel secure and warm.
Yet cracks begin to surface, and the edifice may fall,
Teaching us the lesson, that control eludes us all.
So let us embrace the chaos, the ebb and flow of life,
In surrender, find our freedom, and ease our needless strife.
For in the dance of destiny, where certainty is rare,
We find our true resilience, and learn to simply care.
