Another year has come and gone,
With wrinkles here and hair withdrawn,
But laughter still as strong as youth,
In every laugh, an ageless truth.
Candles piled high on the cake,
Each one a memory, no mistake,
The years may pass, the knees may creak,
Yet joy remains, cheek to cheek.
Gifts wrapped tight with love and care,
Remind us all of moments rare,
For growing old is not so bad,
When every day, a laugh is had.
So here’s to you, another year,
With laughter loud and friends so dear,
Though time may add another fold,
The heart stays young, never old.
