The Heartbeat of Barangay: A Tapestry of Life

Poetry Image

In the heart of the barangay, where laughter weaves its thread,
Children play in sunlit fields, with dreams that gently spread.
Elders sit and share their tales, of times both near and far,
A tapestry of life unfolds beneath the evening star.

The market buzzes with the dawn, with colors rich and bright,
Vendors call and barter, in the soft morning light.
Fruits and spices, crafts and wares, each stall a story told,
A symphony of daily life, in rhythms brave and bold.

As twilight casts its golden hue, the chapel bells do chime,
Families gather, hand in hand, a moment out of time.
Prayers whispered, candles lit, hopes rise like morning dew,
In the sacred space of barangay, where love and faith renew.

Beneath the starlit canopy, the night begins to sing,
Crickets serenade the moon, as dreams take gentle wing.
The heartbeat of the barangay, in every soul does stay,
A timeless dance of unity, forever and a day.
