The Gift of a Helping Hand

Poetry Image

In the quiet whispers of the night,
A light shines through the darkest plight.
A hand extended, warm and kind,
To lift the weary heart and mind.

When shadows fall and paths grow dim,
A selfless act, a heartfelt hymn.
To serve another, rich or poor,
Opens wide a sacred door.

The joy of giving, pure and true,
Can heal the soul and renew.
In every deed, both small and grand,
Lies the grace of a helping hand.

So let us serve with love and cheer,
To ease the pain and calm the fear.
For in the service to each other,
We find ourselves, we find our brother.
