The Gentle Whisper of Life’s Wonder: An Ode to Mary Oliver

Poetry Image

In the quiet of the morning light,
Where nature speaks in whispers kind,
There lies a poet’s gentle sight,
In every leaf and breeze she finds.

Mary, with her pen so true,
Captured life’s most fleeting grace,
In fields of green and skies of blue,
She saw the world, a sacred place.

Her words, like rivers, flowed with ease,
Through valleys deep and mountains high,
She taught us all to simply seize,
The beauty in the earth and sky.

So let us walk where she has tread,
With eyes wide open, hearts so clear,
And in her verses, gently spread,
We’ll find the love that draws us near.
