The Gentle Symphony of English Rain

Poetry Image

In the soft embrace of the English rain,
Whispers of nature soothe the pain.
Each droplet dances in the air,
A melody of calm, tender and rare.

The cobblestone streets gleam and shine,
Under a silver, misty line.
Umbrellas bloom like flowers bright,
In the gentle, drizzling light.

Windows frame a world in grey,
Where dreams and thoughts love to stray.
Puddles mirror the sky’s embrace,
A tranquil, reflective grace.

Through the whispers of the rain,
Stories of old come again.
In every drop, a tale is spun,
Beneath the clouds, away from sun.
