The Gentle Fade of Love’s Embrace

Poetry Image

In the quiet of the evening light,
Love once vibrant, now takes flight,
Whispers of warmth, now shadows cold,
Stories of us, silently unfold.

Hearts entwined, now drift apart,
Echoes of dreams, time did chart,
Once a symphony, now a faded song,
The rhythm of us, feels all wrong.

Gentle smiles, now distant stares,
Moments once shared, now rare affairs,
Touches tender, now lost to the breeze,
Love’s gentle fade, a final release.

Yet amidst the silence, memories stay,
Fragments of love, in disarray,
Though we part, with quiet refrain,
The essence of us, will always remain.
