The Gentle Embrace of Sorrow

Poetry Image

In the quiet shadows, grief softly treads,
Whispering secrets of moments long past,
Each tear a testament to love that bled,
A silent echo of a bond to last.

Through misty eyes, memories still glow,
Dancing like fireflies in the night,
Though time may try to dull their show,
Their light remains, forever bright.

The heart aches, yet finds solace in pain,
For grief is but a mirror of love’s grace,
Each sorrow a reminder, not in vain,
Of a cherished soul, and their embrace.

So let the tears fall, and the heart mend,
For in grief, we find a gentle friend,
A testament to love that will transcend,
Beyond this life, until the end.
