The Gentle Embrace of Sleep

Poetry Image

In the quiet night, where dreams take flight,
Stars whisper secrets to the moon,
The world slows down, in soft twilight,
And sleep becomes a gentle tune.

The blanket of darkness, a tender embrace,
Cradles the weary, in its tranquil space,
Eyes softly close, as worries erase,
In sleep’s warm arms, we find our place.

Dreams weave their magic, in colors bright,
A realm of wonder, beyond the sight,
Where fantasies dance, in pure delight,
And hearts find peace, in the still of night.

As dawn approaches, with gentle ease,
The world awakens, from its restful freeze,
Refreshed and renewed, like a soft breeze,
From the gentle embrace, that sleep decrees.
