The Gentle Embrace of Self-Love

Poetry Image

In the quiet corners of my mind,
I find a place where I am kind,
To myself, in whispers soft,
A love that holds, that lifts me aloft.

Amidst the noise, the world’s demand,
I take a moment, heart in hand,
To cherish flaws, each scar, each line,
For in these marks, my strength does shine.

I learn to see with gentle eyes,
The beauty in my own disguise,
A soul that dances, wild and free,
In the mirror, it’s just me.

So here I stand, with open heart,
Embracing all, each broken part,
For in this love, I am whole,
A radiant light, a peaceful soul.
