The Fragile Web of Deceit: When Lies Poison Love’s Garden

Poetry Image

In shadows thick with whispered lies,
We weave a web that’s frail yet tight,
Each thread a promise, each thread a sigh,
Till truth is lost in endless night.

The trust we built, a castle strong,
Now crumbles at the slightest breeze,
For in your eyes, I see the wrong,
And feel the chill of love’s deep freeze.

You spoke of dreams, of futures bright,
But darkness cloaked your silver tongue,
And now I wrestle with the blight,
Of love betrayed and songs unsung.

Yet in this maze of shattered vows,
I seek a path to clarity,
For love that’s pure, without the shrouds,
Shall rise from lies to set us free.
