Upon the wings of wax and dreams,
Icarus soared beyond the streams.
The sun beckoned with golden light,
A siren’s call to the boundless height.
Above the clouds, a world unfurled,
Where freedom danced and wings were twirled.
Yet in the warmth of the sun’s embrace,
Lay the danger of a reckless chase.
Father’s warnings, a distant echo,
Ignored amidst the radiant glow.
Closer still, the sun did call,
As feathers melted, he began to fall.
Into the sea, where dreams dissolve,
A tale of hubris to resolve.
Icarus’ flight, a lesson cast,
Of dreams too bright and fates too vast.
