The Final Voyage of the Silent Ship

Poetry Image

Across the endless, darkened seas,
The ship of dreams sails silently,
With creaking wood and whispered pleas,
It journeys towards eternity.

Beneath the moon’s cold, ghostly light,
The mast stands tall, yet weathered thin,
As waves of time in endless night,
Embrace the ship, its final kin.

The whispers of the lost crew’s sighs,
Echo through its empty halls,
A symphony of bygone cries,
That time itself cannot forestall.

Now rests the ship on ocean’s floor,
Entwined with coral, bound by sand,
A monument forevermore,
To journeys ceased and dreams unmanned.
