The Fiery Embrace of Summer’s Roar

Poetry Image

Beneath the golden, scorching sun, we lie,
As heatwaves dance, and shimmer in the sky.
The earth, ablaze with summer’s fierce delight,
Embraces us in warmth both day and night.

The rivers dry, their whispers faint and meek,
While fields of green now wear a golden streak.
The flowers bow, their petals kissed by flame,
A testament to heat’s relentless claim.

In shadows deep, we seek a brief respite,
From blazing rays that dominate the light.
The air, it thickens, heavy with the heat,
As nature’s pulse in fervent rhythm beats.

Yet in this swelter, life persists and thrives,
Through sun-drenched days, the world around survives.
The heat, a force both fierce and full of grace,
Reminds us of our planet’s warm embrace.
