Beneath the earth where secrets hide,
Molten rivers flow and bide,
A sleeping giant stirs awake,
With a force that makes the mountains quake.
Flames of red and orange bright,
Pierce the veil of the night,
Ash and smoke fill the air,
Nature’s power laid bare.
Rivers of lava carve their path,
With a furious, untamed wrath,
Life and landscape rearranged,
In an instant, all is changed.
When the fury has abated,
And the fire has satiated,
From the ashes life will sprout,
A rebirth, without a doubt.
