The Endless Hunger That Consumes the Soul

Poetry Image

In shadows deep where desires creep,
A hunger grows, never to sleep.
Eyes aglow with a golden gleam,
Chasing dreams on a restless stream.

Hands that grasp for more and more,
Hearts that ache with an empty core.
The world spins on a thread so thin,
Bound by chains of endless sin.

Riches piled high, yet never enough,
Souls entangled in the endless bluff.
In the mirror, a face unknown,
Lost in a kingdom built on stone.

Yet in the dark, a whisper calls,
Beyond the greed, where silence falls.
Seek the light, let go the need,
Find peace where the spirit is freed.
