The Embrace of Eternal Darkness

Poetry Image

In the hush of the night, shadows whisper tales,
Beneath the moon’s pale glow, where silence prevails.
Stars shiver in their distant, cold embrace,
As darkness spreads its wings, a velvet lace.

Through the forests deep, where secrets hide,
Darkness walks with stealth, no need to chide.
Leaves rustle softly, in a ghostly dance,
Under the veil of night, all in a trance.

The world succumbs to its somber charm,
Cradled gently, free from harm.
Dreams awaken, vivid and bright,
In the realm of the eternal night.

Yet within this abyss, hope resides,
Underneath the cloak, where light hides.
For in the darkest hour, dawn prepares,
To pierce the night with morning’s flares.
