The Echoes of Your Absence

Poetry Image

In the silence of the night, I hear your name,
Whispered by the wind, a ghostly frame.
Memories linger, like shadows they play,
Painting the void in a sorrowful grey.

Your laughter once filled the empty halls,
Now, only echoes answer my calls.
The warmth of your touch, a fleeting ghost,
In dreams, it’s you I miss the most.

The days are long, the nights are cold,
Without your love, I feel so old.
The sun may rise, the moon may glow,
But my heart is lost in the undertow.

Until we meet again, my dear,
I’ll hold your memory ever near.
In every whisper, every sigh,
I’ll find a piece of you, and never say goodbye.
