The Echoes of World War II

Poetry Image

In the shadows of history’s pages,
Lies a tale of courage and despair,
Brave souls marched through the ages,
In a world torn beyond repair.

The skies were filled with thunder’s cry,
As nations clashed in endless fight,
Hearts were heavy, spirits high,
Struggling through the darkest night.

Fields of green turned red with sorrow,
Dreams were shattered, hopes were lost,
Yet in the midst of bleak tomorrow,
Heroes rose, no matter the cost.

As time moves on, memories fade,
Yet we remember the price they paid,
For peace and freedom, a world remade,
By the echoes of World War II, unafraid.
