The Echoes of War: A Tale of Conflict and Despair

Poetry Image

In fields where silence used to reign,
Now echoes of the fallen’s pain,
The whispers of a world gone mad,
Where once was peace, now only sad.

The skies are painted with the smoke,
Of dreams and lives that war has broke,
A canvas of despair and night,
As hope becomes a fading light.

The children’s laughter, now a cry,
Beneath a war-torn, angry sky,
The future’s shrouded in the haze,
Of battles fought in endless days.

Yet in the rubble, seeds are sown,
For peace to one day be reborn,
A world where love can mend the scars,
And heal the echoes left by wars.
