The Echoes of Silent Streets: A Tale of Poverty

Poetry Image

In the shadows where dreams are scarce,
Lives a tale of hearts that dare not dance.
With empty hands and hungry eyes,
They walk the roads where hope dies.

Beneath the stars that fail to gleam,
Lies a world where wealth is but a dream.
Children’s laughter turns to silent cries,
In the night where solace hides.

The creak of doors that never close,
Hide the stories no one knows.
Faces worn by endless strife,
Seek the light in the darkest life.

Yet in the depths where shadows play,
A spark of hope may find its way.
For even in the bleakest night,
Love and strength still hold the light.
