The Echoes of Silent Skies: A Tale of War and Its Shadows

Poetry Image

In the stillness of the night, where whispers mourn the cries,
The echoes of silent skies tell tales of war’s demise.
Shadows of the fallen, etched in the blood-stained earth,
Remind us of the cost, the pain, the endless dearth.

Fields once green now painted red, a canvas of despair,
Where dreams were lost and hopes were crushed, no mercy anywhere.
The clamor of the past still haunts the present day,
As memories of war refuse to fade away.

Children of tomorrow, born from yesterday’s regret,
Stand upon the ruins, lest we ever forget.
The scars of war, though time may try to heal,
Forever linger, a truth we cannot conceal.

Peace, a fragile promise, we strive to hold so dear,
In the echoes of silent skies, we find both hope and fear.
For in the heart of darkness, a single light remains,
The dream of a world where love conquers pains.
