The Echoes of Our Love, Now Fading

Poetry Image

In the quiet moments, I hear your name,
Whispered by the wind, a soft refrain.
Shadows of memories dance on the walls,
Remnants of a love that now gently falls.

Your laughter once filled the empty spaces,
Now silence lingers in familiar places.
The warmth of your touch, a distant dream,
Vanishing like the morning’s first gleam.

We built a castle in the sand,
Only to watch it slip through our hands.
Promises made under the moon’s soft glow,
Now are but echoes, stories untold.

Though our paths diverge, and hearts must mend,
I cherish the moments, my once dear friend.
For in the tapestry of my life’s design,
You’ll always remain, a bittersweet line.
