The Echoes of Modern Existence

Poetry Image

In the heart of the city, neon lights gleam,
Where dreams are built and often lost,
The hum of progress, a constant theme,
But at what price, what hidden cost?

We chase the future, eyes on the prize,
Connected yet distant, in digital haze,
Virtual friendships, real-life goodbyes,
Time slips away in this endless maze.

Concrete jungles, steel and glass,
Nature’s whispers, a forgotten tune,
Amidst the rush, we often pass,
Moments of peace, beneath the moon.

In modern life, both curse and gift,
We find our way, we lose our way,
Seeking balance, hearts adrift,
In this modern world, we learn to sway.
