The Ebb and Flow of Governance: A Reflection on Power and Responsibility

Poetry Image

In the corridors of power, shadows cast long,
Whispers of decisions, where right can turn wrong.
The weight of the crown, a burden to bear,
Balancing justice, with a vigilant care.

Amidst the chambers, debates fiercely blaze,
Voices of many, in a democratic maze.
Promises woven, in the fabric of trust,
Hope for the future, in governance just.

Yet, in the silence, where pens meet the page,
Lies the true essence, of leadership’s stage.
Integrity’s beacon, guiding through night,
Illuminating paths, with transparency’s light.

For a government’s role, in society’s frame,
Is to serve with honor, in actions and name.
Through trials and triumphs, its legacy flows,
As the heart of the people, in governance grows.
