The sun blazes with a fiercer heat,
Glaciers melt beneath its relentless glare,
Once vibrant forests now retreat,
To deserts where life is stripped bare.
The oceans rise with an angry swell,
Consuming shores and distant lands,
Creatures of the deep, in silence dwell,
As plastic and waste pollute the sands.
The air we breathe, a toxic haze,
Chokes the lungs of young and old,
Our planet’s fate, in this modern age,
Hangs in balance, stories untold.
Can we restore what we’ve defiled?
Rekindle the green in our children’s eyes?
The Earth cries out, like a wounded child,
For healing, before it dies.
