The earth cries in silent whispers,
Beneath the weight of human errors,
The glaciers melt, the forests burn,
A dire future, for which we yearn.
The oceans rise, the islands sink,
A fragile balance, on the brink,
The skies grow dark, the storms grow fierce,
Nature’s wrath, we cannot pierce.
The creatures flee, the species fall,
A world once vibrant, now a pall,
The air grows thick, the land grows dry,
We watch in silence, as they die.
Yet hope remains, in hands we hold,
A chance to change, to be bold,
To heal the wounds, to mend the scars,
And find our way, through guiding stars.
