In shadows they weave their tales so sly,
With silver tongues they cast a spell,
Truth buried deep beneath the lie,
In a tangled web where secrets dwell.
Faces masked in a deceitful guise,
Promises made but never kept,
Eyes that sparkle with hidden lies,
And hearts where honesty has slept.
Their words flow smooth like honeyed wine,
Yet poison lingers in each line,
Trust shattered with each false sign,
As they dance on the edge of the divine.
But truth will rise, a dawn so bright,
Exposing shadows in the light,
The liars’ dance will end in sight,
And justice claim its rightful right.
