The Cry of a Warming World: A Poem on Climate Change

Poetry Image

The world we know is changing fast,
Glaciers melt, and storms do blast.
Forests burn, the skies turn gray,
Nature’s treasures fade away.

Oceans rise and swallow land,
Creatures scramble, sand by sand.
Coral reefs lose all their hue,
As warming waters change their view.

People suffer, crops do fail,
Rivers dry, and winds wail.
The balance once so firm and sound,
Now struggles just to hold the ground.

Yet hope remains in hearts that care,
To heal the Earth, to breathe fresh air.
Together we can change the tide,
And in our love, let Earth abide.
