In shadows deep where whispers crawl,
The mind unravels, starts to fall,
Into a chasm, void and bleak,
Where sanity’s thread is frail and weak.
The echoes scream in tortured cries,
As darkness dances in disguise,
A frantic pulse, a shattered dream,
Lost in the void, a silent scream.
Through twisted paths the thoughts will stray,
In labyrinths where nightmares play,
A heart consumed by endless night,
Searching for a glimmer, a sliver of light.
Yet hope may rise from deepest gloom,
To chase away the shadowed doom,
For even in the darkest night,
The dawn will bring the gift of light.
