Sonnet to the Fleeting Hours of Time

Poetry Image

Upon the wings of time, we swiftly glide,
As hours melt away like morning dew.
Each fleeting second slips, we can’t abide,
The endless march that shadows all we do.

Beneath the gaze of stars, we live and fade,
In tender moments, love and joy we share.
Yet time’s relentless flow will not be stayed,
It weaves our memories with utmost care.

Though days may pass, and youth’s bright fire wane,
The essence of our souls remains the same.
In Shakespeare’s lines, our lives are yet retained,
Eternally within his words, our name.

So let us cherish now this fleeting hour,
For time, though swift, cannot erase our power.
