In the hush of twilight’s tender embrace,
Where whispers of night gently trace,
The owls emerge with silent grace,
Guardians of the moonlit space.
Eyes like amber, glowing bright,
Piercing through the velvet night,
Wings spread wide in silent flight,
They dance in shadows out of sight.
Wisdom carried on the wind,
Secrets of the dark rescind,
Ancient tales in gaze rescind,
In their watchful eyes, we find.
As dawn approaches, they withdraw,
To hidden realms without a flaw,
Leaving us in quiet awe,
Of the silent shadows we once saw.
