Silent Screams Behind Closed Doors: The Unseen Shadows of Domestic Violence

Poetry Image

In the quiet corners of a hidden home,
Where whispers echo in the walls,
Shadows dance with silent moans,
As trust and love silently falls.

Bruised hearts and broken dreams,
Cloaked beneath a smiling guise,
Silent screams in muted seams,
Hiding truth from prying eyes.

The night wraps softly around the pain,
With darkness as a cold ally,
Tears fall like relentless rain,
Beneath the veil of a hushed sky.

Yet within the soul, a flicker remains,
A light that defies the darkest night,
Whispering hope through the chains,
Guiding the way towards the light.
