Silence Screams, Words that Wound

Poetry Image

In the quiet shadows, whispers grow loud,
Words like daggers, they cut through the shroud.
A smile, a mask, hides the pain deep inside,
In the heart’s dark corners, the tears reside.

Eyes that once sparkled now dim with despair,
A soul in chains, trapped in the snare.
Silence screams in the empty night,
As the spirit withers, losing its fight.

The scars unseen, the wounds they bear,
A silent cry, a desperate prayer.
Hope fades slowly, lost in the mist,
In a world where love seems to twist.

But from the ashes, a flame will rise,
A voice will echo, breaking the lies.
Strength will gather, the chains will fall,
In the dawn’s light, they will stand tall.
