Shattered Ceilings, Silenced Voices: A Tale of Gender Inequality

Poetry Image

In shadows cast by ancient norms,
Where voices soft are seldom heard,
A world divided takes its form,
With dreams and hopes far too deferred.

The weight of bias, heavy chains,
On shoulders broad and slender too,
Yet strength within, it still remains,
In hearts that fight for what is true.

Unwritten rules, unspoken fears,
A silent war that rages on,
Through countless days and endless years,
In battles fought, though often drawn.

Yet in the dark, a flicker light,
A spark of change begins to grow,
For every soul that dares to fight,
A brighter, fairer world will show.
