Shadows of Silent Tears

Poetry Image

In the quiet of the night, shadows fall,
Whispering the tales of sorrow’s call.
Eyes that once sparkled with joy,
Now reflect the void, an endless ploy.

The heart weighs heavy with unseen pain,
Wrapped in memories, like a cold, relentless chain.
Echoes of laughter, now mere ghosts,
Haunt the corridors, like forgotten hosts.

Each tear a testament to a broken dream,
Flowing silently, a quiet, mournful stream.
The world moves on, indifferent and blind,
Leaving behind a fractured mind.

Yet in the depths of this sorrowful night,
Hope flickers dimly, a distant light.
For even in sadness, there lies a way,
To find strength in the dawn of a new day.
