Shadows of Prejudice

Poetry Image

In the dim light of silent nights,
Whispers of fear take flight,
Biases born from ancient roots,
Clouding minds with bitter fruits.

Beneath the surface of our skins,
Lies a world where hate begins,
Ignorance breeds a silent rage,
Trapping souls in an unseen cage.

Hearts once pure now stained with dread,
Words unspoken, thoughts unsaid,
We build walls with unseen hands,
Dividing lands with shifting sands.

Yet within the dark, a spark remains,
A hope to break these binding chains,
For love and truth to reign supreme,
Unveiling the beauty of our shared dream.
