In halls of power, shadows creep,
Whispers of greed, secrets we keep.
Integrity fades, in darkness they trust,
Corruption’s grip, a silent rust.
Promises broken, hearts turned cold,
In the name of gold, souls are sold.
Truth is twisted, justice delayed,
Innocence lost, virtues betrayed.
The people’s cry, a distant plea,
Drowned by waves of tyranny.
Hope remains, a flickering light,
Against the tide, we must fight.
Rise, O voices, against the night,
Stand for truth, embrace the right.
For in unity, we find our might,
To banish greed, and end the blight.
