Shadows of Addiction: The Silent Chains of Drug Dependency

Poetry Image

In the depths of a hollow night,
Whispers of temptation softly creep,
Promises of escape from the inner fight,
A lullaby that lulls the soul to sleep.

Once vibrant dreams fade to gray,
In the grip of a relentless tide,
The colors of life slowly decay,
As shadows of addiction start to abide.

A heart once free now bound in chains,
Yearning for light yet lost in haze,
Each breath a struggle, each moment strained,
Caught in the labyrinth of endless maze.

Hope flickers like a distant star,
Beyond the clouds of despair and fear,
A reminder that healing isn’t far,
If only one dares to persevere.
