“Rising Numbers, Fading Spaces”

Poetry Image

In lands where once the rivers flowed with grace,
Now crowded streets and skylines take their place.
The whispering winds now carry cries and noise,
As cities swell with countless girls and boys.

The fields that once were green now paved in gray,
As growing numbers claim both night and day.
In search of space, the forests say goodbye,
And creatures of the wild retreat and sigh.

Each new dawn brings faces never known,
In a world where solitude has flown.
The heartbeats of the Earth now multiply,
Beneath an ever-clouded, crowded sky.

Yet hope remains in hearts that understand,
That growth must be embraced with guiding hand.
For in our unity, solutions lie,
To balance life beneath this vast, shared sky.
