Returning Home: A Journey of Heart and Soul

Poetry Image

After years in distant lands,
My heart yearned for familiar sands.
Through valleys deep and mountains high,
I sought the place where spirits fly.

The paths were long, the nights were cold,
But memories kept my spirit bold.
With each step closer, joy did bloom,
For home awaited, beyond the gloom.

The doors swung wide, the lights did glow,
Faces smiled that I used to know.
Laughter echoed, love did flow,
In the place where roots do grow.

Here I stand, no longer alone,
In the embrace of the well-known.
The journey ends, the circle’s whole,
Returning home, I’ve found my soul.
