Reflections on War and the Pursuit of Peace

Poetry Image

In the shadows of a thousand battles,
The echoes of conflict linger still,
Where dreams once soared like soaring eagles,
Now lay silent, beneath the hill.

The cries of war, a haunting chorus,
Carved deep into the soul’s own core,
Yet amidst the chaos, hope emerges,
A gentle whisper, yearning for more.

Peace, a fragile, tender blossom,
Nurtured by hands that once held swords,
In its petals, lies the promise,
Of healing, love, and unspoken words.

O heart, let not the scars define you,
Seek the light in the darkest night,
For when the dawn of peace awakens,
The world will shine in newfound light.
