Reflections on the Passing of Mary Oliver

Poetry Image

In the whisper of the morning breeze,
Her words dance upon the leaves,
A gentle echo in the trees,
Where nature’s song never grieves.

Through forests deep and rivers wide,
Her spirit roams, unconfined,
Embracing every wild tide,
A soul to earth forever tied.

As stars adorn the velvet night,
Her verses paint the skies so bright,
Illuminating hearts with light,
Guiding wanderers through their plight.

Though she walks among the stars,
Her legacy forever ours,
In every bloom and bird that soars,
Her gentle voice forever pours.
