Upon the icy shores they stand,
In coats of black and white, so grand,
Guardians of the frozen land,
Dancers in the snow’s gentle hand.
Beneath the sky’s vast, endless blue,
In colonies where friendships grew,
They waddle forth, a merry crew,
Keepers of the cold, they pursue.
Through storms and winds, they bravely glide,
With steadfast hearts, they do not hide,
Together, side by side, abide,
In nature’s arms, they take their stride.
Wonders of the world, divine,
In their eyes, the stars align,
Penguins of the ice, a sign,
Of nature’s art, a sacred shrine.
