In the deepest corners of the night,
Where shadows dance and fears ignite,
Monsters whisper, hidden from sight,
Feeding on dreams, in silent flight.
Beneath the bed where children sleep,
In closets dark, their secrets keep,
They lie in wait, in silence creep,
Haunting thoughts that run so deep.
Eyes that glisten in the dark,
Claws that leave a lasting mark,
A world where nightmares leave their spark,
Monsters reign, in every park.
But with the dawn, they fade away,
As light of morning holds its sway,
Yet in our minds, they often stay,
Monsters lurking, come what may.
